Jesus Will

If you've visited my website and scrolled through it, reading the three personal stories: "911 What's Your Emergency," "Not the Twilight Zone, But the No Phone Zone," and "W.W.J.D.," you'll grasp why the song "Jesus Will" by Sean Rodriguez has provided me with solace and a deeper understanding over the past six weeks.

In my personal life, everything was proceeding smoothly, as if my routine was unbreakable, until those minor life changes occurred, deviating from our plans and desires. Such unforeseen events can provoke anger and lead us to question why they happen to us. We often overlook that there's a reason behind everything, and although we may not have immediate answers, we strive to resolve these issues and return to our daily lives as if nothing happened. Yet, it's not always possible. It's akin to a roller coaster that has stalled, awaiting the twists before veering off in an unexpected direction.

I began to feel overwhelmed, anxiety was taking hold, and I was attempting to fix something beyond my reach at the moment. I had to let go, reflect, and understand that things will improve in due time, recognizing that some situations require incremental steps rather than a giant leap. I relinquished control, entrusting everything to God's hands and His timing. Once I did that, the weight that was preventing me from moving forward seemed to lift, and I continued on my journey with less worry and stress, confident that things will improve, when necessary, as "When I can't battle, Jesus will."
